About Me

Vivir no es sólo existir, sino existir y crear, saber gozar y sufrir y no dormir sin soñar.

About me: I'm a quiet guy, I like to go to cultural events, I like visiting new places, meeting new people. I think this web site is a great opportunity to do that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always liked travelling and knowing people from all over the world. Unfortunately, places like Europe or Noth America are a little bit too expensive for my budget :(
So I think this is an excellent way to share beautiful moments and experiences, to meet great people, to do all these things that I like and, why not?, to save some money!

Interests

I'm interested in traveling, making friends, having fun, learning new stuff.
I'm having a new step in my life right now and I'm doing things that I've been postponing or that I've never thought I would do before. It's just amazing how a little change creates a great feeling in your life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love "Realismo Mágico", and authors like Gabriel García Márquez, Salman Rushdie and Mario Vargas Llosa. I listen to almost every type of music and I prefer movies with no so much action but a good story instead.
I also like board games, so let's play some and maybe you can even teach me how to play a card game from your country that's new for me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day I realized that I was in my confort zone and I wasn't doing much with my life, so I quit my job and moved to a different city in just 2 weeks. That was a shot of adrenaline in my life and I don't regret it. Now, traveling is part of this new life!
I traveled around Europe for 5 months with a very low budget but I did a lot of things! I visited more than 30 amazing cities and towns and met incredible people. I was so lucky with my hosts, the free days for many museums and the surfers that I went for a walk with... everything just happend in the best way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Spanish, answer your questions about latin culture.
If I'm hosting, I would like the guests to spend some time with me and get to know each other having a nice conversation (I know you are here to visit the city, so I will NOT take much of your time) .
Please don't turn the Couchsurfing concept into a "just a free hotel". It's all about sharing and traveling, even if as a host you are just sitting in the livingroom talking to the travelers. That is also a way of travelling ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can have interesting conversations about places and cultures, books and movies, tips for travelling in Mexico and all the things I know that you might be interested in.
