I am lighting designer living in Copenhagen, in a cosy apartment located in Christianshavn neighbourhood. I love hosting as well as traveling myself and I think that it is a great way to meet fantastic people.

I am open-minded and liberal, enjoy deep conversations and thinking out loud. I consider myself to be a chill person, but I do value punctuality and quality communication. I do speak Russian, but would prefer couchsurfers who would like to speak in English instead. It`s not because I do not like it, but there were some instances where people could not say an english word in person. Couchsurfing is based on trust and therefore less surprises is better.
It is a two way street, so I prioritize people with common interests and who are the same age as me or higher.

Also it seems that quite a few new couchsurfers think that it is a free Airbnb service. It is not. It is a platform for like-minded travelers to meet, socialize and exchange interests. Therefore I tend to host people only with previous couchsurfing experiences, positive references and clear statements on why they chose me to be their host.
