We love to live a simple life without to many material things, but focus on personal connections, physical and mental health.
We are easygoing and usually easy to be around. We love being outside everything from a long walk, collecting oysters or sitting around a campfire.

Esben: I have an education in nutrition and healt with a focus on exercise and training. I have been working at a gym as a trainer and have over the last few years been working with a weight loss project focusing on helping the less fortunate citizens in out area.
But my real passion is traveling. To experience other peoples normal (or strange) lives and cultures very inspiring.

Camilla: I have a bachelor in sport and health and are a licensed dietitian with a Master degree in Health Science. Today I work as a dietitian at the local hospital, where I specialize in children with special dietary needs and patients with kidney malfunction.
My passion in teaching and to give others the tools to not just help themselves but also others.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

From January 2017 and until Dencember 2018 we travelled from USA (California) and south through central and south america until we felt feel like going home.
We were riding two small motorcycles and were on a budget. That means a lot of camping and cooking our own meals. No fancy hotels or extravagant meals for us.
After driving 25.000 km through southern USA and central america we need a change.
In Santiago de Chile we sold our motorcycles and got a van.
In our van called Lance we drove 35.000km around south america.

We are on couchsurfing to meet other people during our travels. We think we get so much more out of our stay in any location, when having a local guide to help us really experience and appreciate a new place.

For 5 years we were back home in Denmark and we wanted to be able to repay in some small measure the hospitality others have shown us in our travels. Couchsurfing has given us that opportunity.

Now we are on our next adventure. We travel in our camper around the world for the next 2 or 3 years.
We left Denmark in May 2024 and have visited many countries on our way east. We spend a long time in the middle east and are now exploring Central Asia.

We really love to learn how YOU are living you life. From how you hang out at home or how you job is. You might think its just another day at work but for us its a whole new experience. So please show us, lets us be a part of your life for a few days in all its daily routines.

We speak danish (of course) are pretty fluent in English and know a little German and few words in Spanish. Camilla is learning Russian.
We would love to learn more of whatever language you speak and if you or your family wants to practice your English (or danish :-) that would be fine with us too :-)
