To become free from the regret of the past and the fear of the future
The best way to find out about me is to meet me! But I s'pose a list of attributes could help you get an idea of me...
I am a nonconventional, contradictory person. I am sensitive, attentive and analytical and tend to be well-prepared but I never plan too far into the future. I love spontaneity. Food and crafts are my passions. I'm an introvert, a dreamer, an explorer. I am a hard shell with a soft interior and I bend to my surroundings.
I suffer from social anxiety but I battle it every day; I've got better things to do with my life than be miserable. When unaffected by my anxieties I feel awesome and do the craziest things. People call me ironic.
Problems are opportunities in disguise.
Don't be sad that it ended. Be happy that it happened.
Assumption leads to misery. We never really know the whole truth, we never really know what others are thinking, and never really know what certain opportunities have to offer us.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books I enjoy are National Geographics, non-fiction books and how-to's. I listen to a wide range of music; from alternative rock to ambient to folk punk to reggae to melodic death metal. LOVE the 90s. Movies? Lost in Translation, Motorcycle Diaries, District 9, 127 Hours, Children of Men, and Interstellar pop into mind. Oh and Firefly. I enjoy anime as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking in Iceland and waking up at 2am to enjoy the sunrise on the top of a mountain.
Gone swimming in the ocean with friends in Mexico while a hurricane was in sight and the city was flooded, and almost drowned. Amazingly stupid is more like it.
Appreciating the little things...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really passionate about food and love talking about the politics of food, the scavenging, cooking and the sharing of healthy homemade goodies.
I myself would like to learn how to maintain bikes and how to play musical instruments (most familiar with the guitar). I have a wide range of interests though, so entertain me with what fascinates you most!
