Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Livin' la vida loca, and learning about the world around me as I do so.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a suburb of Toronto with my brother and father. I am happy-go-lucky, easy-going, and have a great sense of humour. I can be very silly at times, and serious at others... depends on the situation. I like to enjoy life and take it day by day. I am up for almost any challenge, and face them head on.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, love, laugh... or as my good friend Paco always says (with a Mexican accent of course),
"Enjoy da life, man!"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To surf or not to surf... that is the question. Actually, it's more a matter of finding a couch to surf on. I have not been able to offer my own couch yet, but hope to do so when I return from my year of travelling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couch surfing is a great concept, and I cannot say I have done a whole lot of it. I have crashed on friends' couches, floors, spare beds before, but never really with a total stranger. At least none that I can remember. Looking forward to the experiences that lie ahead...
Interests
Travel... duh! Poker, sports (baseball, hockey, tennis, yo-yo - what, it's not a sport?), and eating paste. Mmmm paste. Don't knock it 'til you try it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books? What's that? And music? I love polka!
But seriously, you have to delve into conversation with me to learn about these things. I can say that I like most kinds of music (from rock to reggae to slow jams), with U2 arguably being my favourite band. As for movies, I enjoy most genres, but I'm a sucker for a good comedy. I also have a soft spot for some more inspirational flicks such as Rudy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many... skydiving, bunjee, scuba, climbing pyramids and exploring ancient cities, seeing the world, experiencing different cultures and ways of life. Living in Mexico for a year was a great experience as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hey, I'm a high school teacher so if you want to learn anything about mathematics or computer science, ask away. I can make a rose out of a napkin! Ask me to show you how.
I would love to learn to play the guitar, if I only had the time.
Countries I’ve Visited
