I’ve been living on the road since 2016, and thanks to Couchsurfing I’ve had incredible experiences, because there’s nothing like getting to know a place through someone who lives there, and nothing like remembering a place through the people you meet. I’m convinced that I don’t keep living this life because of the landscapes — I do it because of the people. And that’s why I love this platform so much.
After almost 10 years of living fully nomadic, I decided to rent an apartment in Cairo. A bit risky, but the only way for me to commit, even slightly, to a long-term home is by doing it in a place I love and a place where I still have so much to discover.
If you’re around and our paths cross, I can host you at home and share moments together in this wild city.
