Why I'm on Couchsurfing: I started off using Couchsurfing due to an unexpected solo trip to LatAm because my friend couldn't make it last minute. Not knowing the language or anyone there, I discovered the CS community which is full of warm-hearted people willing to open their doors to travellers and introduce their culture. They were more than helpful to my first-ever solo trip there and I fell in love with this way of travel since then. Recently I've also decided to try hosting when I have the opportunity as a way to give back to the community.

Who I am: I am a spicy food lover, a world explorer, a learner, and a dreamer. My hometown is Sichuan China. Although I grew up in a local Chinese background, I consider myself an open-minded person with a global mindset. I've been to 20+ countries across 5 continents during my university time in Beijing, and was fascinated by how amazing the world is. When I'm on the road traveling, I'm passionate and curious, and almost never get tired of experiencing new cultures and adventures. When I'm not traveling, I'm self-driven and busy at times while also trying to enjoy life to the fullest.

Who I want to meet: people without prejudice - it's always easy to judge others but difficult to understand and empathize; people that like to share - I believe everyone has their unique stories and we can all learn from each other; if you are into cultures, economics, politics, business, etc. or if you want to know more about China .. that's even better!

To spend a night living in the wilderness in the Amazon jungle of Brazil
To finish the W circuit at Patagonia in Chile
And most recently, to move from Hong Kong to London on my own and start a new life journey!
