Informazioni generali
Chi sono
I'm an adventurous, earthy person who loves to be active and explore new perspectives. I have a silly (and often dark) sense of humor, a curiosity about the world, and a deep appreciation of life. I love world music from all over, art, design, and architecture, dancing, finding new ways to move my body, trying new food, going to museums and galleries, gardening, nerding out over nature, and working with various farm/community garden/nonprofit food distribution initiatives.
I'm a respectful, independent, and clean guest who keeps to myself unless company is offered. That being said, I love people and have met some of the best through couchsurfing.

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to delve into new perspectives, make new friends, and go on fun adventures. For me, it's about practicing an openness to the world, rather than traveling in an insulated tourist bubble. I'm here to cultivate curiosity about the world, about people, and to explore unusual perspectives.
At the moment, I'm traveling full time and therefore unable to host. I look forward to the not-so-distant future when I can welcome others into my home and give them the local low-down.

Musica, film e libri
I hate having to pick favorites! I love classic rock like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, grew up playing the violin so I have a love for classical music, Latintronica and other world beats are fun for dancing... my playlists are preeeeettty eclectic. I love ecstatic dance.
In terms of movies, most recent favorites are probably Captain Fantastic, Everything Everywhere All At Once, and Barbie, ha.
I decided to take a break from school last year, which gave me SO MUCH TIME TO READ! 🤓 My favorites that I read last year are A Tale for the Time Being, Emergent Strategy, and Sex At Dawn.
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Diving for the first time in the Great Barrier Reef (I was terrified!!).... burned an entire layer of skin off my face after surfing in New Zealand (oops)...not dying at Machu Picchu even though I was sick in like 3 different ways
But most amazing!! (to me)
I got paid to teach a series of classes on regenerative gardening through a partnership with Portland Community Gardens, Kindness Farm, and Outgrowing hunger. I also worked briefly with the African Farmers Organization to help them adapt their practices to the Pacific Northwest climate.

Yoga! Certified at 500+ hour level to teach Kundalini, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra
Regenerative agriculture/gardening.
Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa
I love to cook and usually it's edible! Haha. No really though, people eat it, they like it, we all live to see another day, life is good.
I'll work in your garden, or if you don't have one, help you plant one.
Good conversation, active listening, thoughtful questions.
I also really enjoy sharing yoga practices with folks who are interested.
