I am Evelyn, from the Alps in Italy and currently studying in Vienna. The word "fernweh" is something I can really relate to. Too often I get this feeling that so many places and cultures wait for me to be explored. Soo much exquisite food is out there to taste. And very important, so many people are there to have wonderful conversations and moments with. I am fascinated by this world, by this nature we are gifted with and the beautiful things human beings have created. I love to connect, exchange stories and experiences and have a fun time together that we‘ll keep in our hearts forever.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think it is the best opportunity to meet local people and to really get in contact with the culture of a new place. And it is just wonderful to have friends from all over the world. As soon as I have the space to host people, I will definitely do that. Give and take.
Music, Movies, and Books
Since childhood I am a bookworm and loose myself in worlds that only exist on paper. I always have some books with me, usually one that teaches me something and one I just read for pleasure.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
One highlight so far was for sure the caminho portugues, where I walked 260km and got in touch with amazing people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I play the piano and the guitar, which of course I can try to teach. Also I love to just talk and share experiences and improving languages by doing that. But, I am very happy to learn from you. Also I love to write down your favorite cooking recipes, so that at some point, I have a Couchsurfing - Cookbook.
My Interests
I love being active and outside in nature, reading interesting and fascinating books, playing guitar and piano, photography and all kinds of art. Talking and philosophising about random things. Just living in the moment and trying to do everything with as much attention as possible.
