About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling wherever and whenever

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Buenos Aires. As a kid I always dreamt of travelling abroad, but for economical reasons I was never able to. I was able to travel a few times with my school but to close places, I always wanted to go somewhere else, far away. I am currently studying Business Administration and last year I saved up enough money to start travelling.
Some brainstorming of who I am:
Love jogging... I used to be asthmatic and a doc recommended me to start doing cardio workout; which kind of cured my asthma.
Love walking as well.
Not much of a good chef; but I like to eat... A lot... And of course I'm open to tasting new things.
Ironically, given that I like jogging and not wasting my time sitting doing nothing; I'm also kind of a computer/tv geek. Somehow I manage to do both at the same time.
I am a person who takes a week to describe himself (It's been a week since I started filling out my profile)
I have a rule in which I can only be mad at the world one day a month, and I even write it down in my agenda, knowing that e.g. 2 weeks from now will be the day, like "Today is the day I don't talk to anyone or they will hate me"
I like to organize useless things in my life (like what I explained above)
I laugh at everything... If someone falls, first I laugh, then I help; sometimes both things at the same time. It's automatic, I'm not mean, it's just my system expressing itself...
Love different cultures, and I wish to some day be able to leave my country and go ANYWHERE to live; start from fresh. Of course I will miss my country and my family and friends, but just the idea of living abroad is awesome.
I'm a person who finds it hard to brainstorm without repeating ideas...
And I will probably keep expanding this list as I keep remembering useless yet interesting facts about me.

PHILOSOPHY

It's by doing whatever that you become whoever.
(Kind of "you are what you eat", but DOING stuff)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much of a personal experience, but a good friend of mine uses it very often, and I got to listen to her experiences and to meet the surfers who visited her house; something that led me into joining.

Interests

Jogging, walking and big green spaces.
Any extreme sport (sky-diving, bungee jumping, etc)
Some normal sports (soccer, american football, tennis)
Musicals and theatre productions.
Going out AND enjoying daylight; something that leads to me not being much of a sleeper...
I'm also a volunteer at a non-profit organization named "Techo" ("Un Techo para mi Pais" - "A Roof for my country") which exists all around Latin America. It aims to end extreme poverty by working together with communities and their neighbours.

Music, Movies, and Books

Three top "serious" movies? Shawshank Redemption, Truman Show, Forrest Gump... By "serious" I mean that it is different from the other type of "immature" movies I like; ANY comedy movie...
Books? Only 2 that I was really into them when I read them, and yep, very "mainstream": Narnia's and Harry Potter's sagas.
Music? ANYTHING... My Ipod can jump from Classical to Techno to Pop to Rock...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to South Africa with my schoolmates; met so many people and a totally different culture. Visited awesome places with great views. Doesn't look so "Amazing", but it was the first time in my life I travelled so far, or for so long, or with so many friends...

Countries I’ve Visited

Chile, South Africa, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina
