About Me

I’m a 35-year-old with a passion for discovery and connection. After completing my university studies, I began working in a winery on the slopes of Mount Etna, a place that has always captivated me with its raw beauty and powerful presence. Working as a sommelier in such a unique setting has allowed me to deepen my knowledge of wine and meet people from all over the world.

I have a wide range of interests that enrich my life and keep me constantly learning. One of the most important is scouting, which I’ve been involved in since I was a child. It has taught me values like respect for others and a love for adventure. Music is another passion of mine—I’ve been playing bass guitar for years, and I see it as a powerful way to express emotions and connect with people. Additionally, I practice Aikido, a martial art that has helped me cultivate both physical discipline and mental balance.

Since I was a child, I’ve been passionate about learning English, driven by my desire to connect with people from different cultures and explore the world. This has been invaluable during my travels, which are a cornerstone of my life. I’ve had the privilege of visiting many countries and experiencing unforgettable adventures, which I’d love to share with you if we get the chance to meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After earning my degree, I embarked on a one-month trip across Europe to explore its diverse cultures and connect with new people. During that journey, I discovered the Couchsurfing community and had my first amazing experiences staying with kind and welcoming hosts. That trip was just the beginning of many adventures with this incredible community, which continues to enrich my travels and allow me to create meaningful connections around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Imagine by John Lennon because of its timeless message of peace, unity, and hope. The song's simplicity and beauty inspire me to dream of a world without barriers, divisions, or conflicts, where humanity can come together in harmony. It’s a song that resonates deeply with my values and reminds me of the power of imagination to create change.

As for Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, it’s a book that speaks to my soul. I’m fascinated by its exploration of life’s spiritual journey, the search for meaning, and the importance of self-discovery. Siddhartha’s path reminds me that true wisdom often comes from personal experience and that life’s answers can be found within ourselves rather than through external validation. It’s a story that has profoundly influenced how I view the world and my own journey.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some good italian dishes. Whether it's preparing a simple pasta or a traditional dish, I love bringing people together around the table and creating an opportunity for good conversation and connection.
