About Me

U can text me on Instagram, if I haven’t reply to ur request... sometimes I don’t see notifications here!!
@just_tann86

Update Oct 2024. Everyone is welcome but
(Due to a bad experience recently I want to leave here clear that I’m an environmentalist 🌱, activist👊🏼 and Pro Palestinian 🇵🇸… if you think different is ok, good luck in your travels and life, but my home and energy are not for you)

✨MY VIBE ATTRACTS MY TRIBE! ✨

HOLA, I'm Tan. Or better known as “Mama Raver”
and my CURRENT MISSION IS: INSPIRE BEFORE I EXPIRE. BE A GOOD HUMAN, EXPERIMENT DIFF CULTURES. ✨LIVE - LOVE - TRAVEL✨
Live and Enjoy life as much as I can & being the best version of me!

Also when I can, I like to help travelers to find a cozy and safe place to stay when I’m in my home town, Amecameca Or in Playa del Carmen where I’m currently living since the lock down!
And soon Medellin Colombia where planing to move next winter 2025 for a year.

I LOVE to cook, so I like to cook a meal for the ppl that Hosts me, or teach them some of my different skills, in exchange for their couch.. ;)
I will expect that if I host u, u can also cook some
Traditional meal for us.

I like the culture exchange and cooking is about that too. So prepare ur best recipe to share with us.
Mom used to tell me that the way to materialize love and gratitude to give back, is through the food.
My home is ur home, but I’m
Not an AirBnb. So I can’t host u more than 2 or 3 days. sometimes maybe 4 nights, plus u gotta be in charge of leaving the room clean and tidy for the next traveller. U can use my kitchen but please do ur dishes and keep the area clean, just treat my home as u treat yours. :)
Services in playa are becoming too expensive, so I started to ask to leave some cooperation for water, gas and electricity, cuz lately has becoming very expensive to host ppl often. But I still liking to be involved and help.

Who I'm:
Hola soy TAN, a 37 years old creative photographer and party organizer & love working in production at some electronic festivals.. I organize very cool eco-friendly jungle raves, Plus I got an instagram account focused in the harm reduction. @party_safe_mexico (inspired by @dance_safe)
and online magazine that post about the underground electronic music scene in Riviera Maya and rates the places according my own experiences and my raver friends. @find_EDM
When I’m not organizing a rave, or traveling I like to volunteer in animal shelters and with kids. I love kids, and I try my best to be a good positive example for them, cuz they are our future.

Im such a romantic chica, I love to write about life and love, I consider myself as a super friendly and outgoing person, very dynamic, free soul, extrovert and artistic. I Believe in karma, good energy, spirituality and in the amazing law of attraction.
I really like to talk, and to listen others. This is my favourite part of CS. Meet travellers that have lots to share with me and I do with them too.

Things I LOVE:
🌎My planet, nature, making parties with love and intention, (cuz music brings ppl together, and together we can do amazing things in unity..
Smile and make others smile too. Sharing moments and things. I love to dance, psychedelics, photography, hiking, meditation, cooking , essential oils. exploring, learn how to expand my mind and it’s power. talk, meet people, Love animals, volunteering, vegetarian.
Deep house, techno lover, funk, Disco, festivals, BasicallyI love to get in love with whatever is new for me and will leave a big life lesson.

PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy of life is always changing as I mature and live new experiences. But here some ideas I stick on
*If you see a Back packer, help him/her, is trying to explore ur country and to know more about ur culture.
*The Respect for the rights of others is peace.
*Leave no trace
*Never judge anyone.
* Enjoy your life and do what makes u happy

*When we are born we have nothing sure in life, only death. It is in yourself choosing how you want to live your life and who you want to live in it before you die. Life is so short that I do not want to waste it on regrets

*Live your life as you wish and let others live as they want....
I live to love and love living. I believe in compassion. I believe in respect, I believe in expression. I believe in karma. I believe that the world is a mess and needs fundamental change. And I believe that humanity is capable of that change.

LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH & TRAVEL

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm here since 2010, because When I travel I want to meet local people and learn about their culture, and I can't do this in a hotel. Plus I like to leave a bit of myself too in every place I visit.
I can help travelers to find a family home, comfortable, and safe, with delicious homemade food... Take u to the waterfalls and to the national park "Iztapopo" to see the 2 most amazing volcanos in Mexico.
Give a cozy single bed to surf for few days, show the beauty places of my village, and give a photo tour around the volcanoes,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Be part of Couchsurfing and had met amazing ppl around the world. Sharing my food and home with them, in exchange of expanding my mind thorough their teaching, good energy and stories.

watching the northern lights was an amazing experience, photographed bears, I tried to snowboard, I finished at hospital, but enjoyed that experience, was beyond crazy!

Volunteering with the poor people of Sahara, made me realize that they were richer than the rich people with money,

spent 10 days at the desert in Morocco.
in 2010 I traveled during a month witting Mexico with only $5 dollars daily and hitchhiking.
in 2014 I went to shambhala, it blowed my mind
I pretended to be Brazilian to get in to a concert for free and I got free beers and food too, lol
Have waited 30 min in line out of a club in Canada at -30, with a bunch of CS from different countries... it was a cool, damn cold but an unforgettable night

And making super cool underground“clandestine” eco-mini Raves in the jungle during the lockdown! And donation part of the income to animal shelters, donating to a foundation which does beach clean ups, and are recollecting money to buy a machine to make eco-bricks with all the plastic that comes from
The ocean and are around the beaches and manglares too. @maramororg
