Overview
About Me
Hello my name is Fadl born and raised in Beirut Lebanon, I studied in Strasbourg for the past 2 years and now move to Lyon for work.
Okay so why I'm here?
Simply because I love meeting people from different culture and hearing from their experiences and travel stories. I also would love to show you around my beautiful city of course when I'm not working :)
and of course to use couch surfing when I'm traveling so I can immerse myself in the culture of the country meet the locals try the traditional food and drinks ( especially wine !)
I live with Girlfriend Margot in a one bedroom apartment, but we have a big couch, 1 or 2 people can sleep on.
My philosophy: It’s not the destination , it’s not the journey , what matters is the people u’re with along the way !
PS: please read about couchsurfing etiquette if you’re new here
I started being more picky with who i host ,
My house is not a hostel , if i host you i’ll be giving you a local experience ( city tour , food tour , cooking etc etc )
So if you’re just looking for a bed to sleep i’m not the right one

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
•One Sunday I was sitting in my room with two of my best friends at 12Pm when we decided to have a road trip from Strasbourg to Amsterdam. Well 30min later we were packed and in the car driving with no plan no accommodation and no idea what will do the next day (we encountered a lot of drama along the way) . Wanna hear the rest of the story of how we ended up homeless for a night ?
•Organized a trip to 5 cities ( Budapest , Vienna, Bratislava, Warsaw and paris) for 18 people from 12 different nationalities
• Went on a road trip to Liechtenstein with 6 strangers one of them i met for 10min 2 weeks prior and invited me to join them !
•Organized a meeting in the park for international students ( and 150 people showed up)
• Went to a beer festival in a small city in Bavaria (Regensburg) I was the only foreigner in this massive tent and didn’t speak a word of Germany. Yet had the best party of my life and felt in love with Bavarians.
• Visited 5 counties in one day ( France Germany Switzerland Austria Liechtenstein)
•Played chess in a thermal bath in Budapest with locals ( and won every game :) )
• Camped the night in an ancient roman temple/ ruins
• Been homeless in Amsterdam
• Organized an international dinner in my house with 20 different nationalities
