关于我

Helloo!
A quick background about me: I did my master’s degree in Strasbourg, then spent the last two years working in Lyon, and I’ve recently moved to Paris.

So… why am I here?
Simply because I love meeting people from different cultures and hearing about their experiences and travel stories. I also really enjoy showing people around my (new but already beloved!) city — of course when I’m not working 🙂

And when I’m traveling myself, I love using Couchsurfing to truly immerse myself in the local culture: meeting locals, discovering traditional food and drinks (especially wine 🍷), and seeing places through local eyes.

My philosophy:
It’s not the destination, it’s not the journey — what really matters is the people you’re with along the way.

A small note:
If you’re new to Couchsurfing, please take a moment to read about Couchsurfing etiquette before sending requests.

I’ve also become a bit more selective about who I host. My place is not a hostel — if I host you, I’m happy to offer a real local experience (city walks, food spots, cooking together, etc.).
So if you’re only looking for a bed to sleep in, I might not be the right host for you.

Important:
I’m very allergic to peanuts, so I kindly ask that you don’t bring any into the house. Please mention peanuts in your request so I know you’ve read this 🙏

Looking forward to meeting great people from around the world! 🌍

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I truly believe that my greatest source of wealth in life is my network. Through Couchsurfing, I’ve met some incredible and inspiring people — many of whom I’m now happy to call friends.

I’m here mainly for the chance to meet people who broaden my perspective and to learn from their experiences.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: rock, jazz, classical, modern pop — honestly, anything that makes me feel like dancing

Books: I read a lot of classics, philosophy, and business books.
Ask me about the story of how I started reading at 18 — it’s a funny one

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

•One Sunday at around noon, I was sitting in my room with two of my best friends when we suddenly decided to go on a road trip from Strasbourg to Amsterdam.
Thirty minutes later, we were packed and already on the road — no plan, no accommodation, and absolutely no idea what we’d do the next day. A lot of drama happened along the way…
Want to hear how we ended up homeless for a night? 😄

A few other fun adventures that describe me pretty well:

• Organized a trip to 5 cities (Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava, Warsaw, and Paris) for 18 people from 12 different nationalities

• Went on a road trip to Liechtenstein with 6 strangers — one of them I had met for only 10 minutes, two weeks earlier, who randomly invited me to join

• Organized a meet-up in a park for international students… and 150 people showed up

• Went to a beer festival in a small Bavarian city (Regensburg). I was the only foreigner in a huge tent, didn’t speak a word of German, yet had one of the best parties of my life and fell in love with Bavarians 🍺 — and even got a free Lederhose !

• Visited 5 countries in one day (France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Liechtenstein)

• Played chess with locals in a thermal bath in Budapest — and won every game

• Camped for the night in ancient Roman ruins

• Organized an international dinner at my place with people from 20 different nationalities

If you enjoy spontaneous adventures, good stories, and slightly chaotic travel energy… we’ll probably get along very well

教,学,和分享

I love cooking, so I’d be more than happy to cook for you some traditional dishes from my home country, Lebanon — apparently the best food in the world! 😉🇱🇧

I’m also very passionate about storytelling and can share a few simple tricks to help you make your stories more engaging and captivating when you tell them.

I also come with plenty of funny stories about all the stupid (but memorable) decisions I’ve made during my travels 😅

Bonus: I can teach you swear words in more than 8 languages — a surprisingly useful life skill
