ABOUT US

We are a young German family living in Switzerland since 2011. We are spontaneous and enterprising. Our small town is about 20 minutes by car from Lucerne. What else should we tell you? If you like winter (ski area only minutes by bus or car) or summer (mountains for biking and hiking are everywhere) outdoor sports, long walks in the nature or only swimming in the lake...this is your place to visit and you are really welcome in our apartment! We love to meet new people and make friends around the world. Our son (born 2010) and our daughter (born 2015) also like to have some playmates around. =)

We understand that the hotels in Switzerland are rather expensive but we don't like to be used as your free accommodation because looking for free accommodation/saving money only disagrees with the ORIGIN IDEA of CS. If you like to stay with us we expect you to have a bit time for us as we are also interested to hear and learn something about your country. Don't panic to be captured now - you will have enough time for your plans too - as we are sometimes also very busy. =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is the greatest idea we have ever heard about, so we tell all our friends to partcipate in this project and to open themselves for new experiences :-) For the moment we usually play the hosts but we hope that our own trip won't be long in coming!
We treat our couchsurfers like guests and will be happy to spend some time with you. Because of our children we can't take you to the bars or introduce you to the night life of Lucerne. You have to find the drinks on your own! =) But we will be happy to show you the beautiful nature of our region! And after a long day outside it is possible to have a drink or smoke a shisha close to our apartment in a local bar.
