I'm from North Carolina, I've spent a lot of my life there. I've traveled a bit. I'm currently in Oregon, we'll see what happens.

ABOUT ME

I can't help but feel a bit weird when trying to describe myself. I am a generally quiet and respectful guy but not shy. I like to cook and share meals and conversation with people. I don't mind fending for myself either, I don't need my hand held.

I don't have much Spanish but am trying to learn little by little.

PHILOSOPHY

I can't know everything, I can try to know myself, I may even understand others in the process. I can better myself, always.

When I have the opportunity, I like to stay with people who are locals. I don't like the money barrier that certain travel sites create between host and guest. I like to hear what people find interesting about their corner of the world. I also want to be able to bring the world and its people to me once (if) I settle down eventually.

Currently: I'm planning a road trip back to a new home in Louisville KY from Western Oregon.

兴趣

I love music. I enjoy reading and learning new things. I'm focusing my energy on getting back in to school. I want a trade, a skill, something I can have and use to make my way in the world. I have a brother who'll eventually teach me some more about welding once he has the spare time. I'm interested in learning more permaculture and love gardening, digging in the dirt! YES!

Books? Sci-fi books, fantasy, I like my brain candy. I like quiet books too, I'm reading Pilgrim at Tinker Creek over the course of the year (sipping at it while I slurp others down) I like wild ones that bring a perspective I may not have considered in a while or at all!
