April 14 Update
Hitchhiking sucks in España, I'm entering back to France, probably I'll go towards Hungary back again now but who knows what road brings 🛣️🥳

April 10 Update
I have stayed for first time in a hostel in my life. I stayed there because I could volunteer. I spent 2 weeks in Barcelona, I have met some interesting people and I could get to know less people but for longer times. This was another experience. Now I'm going Madrid to see my friend.

March 22 Update
After all the crazy experience from Hungary-Germany-Belgium-France now I'm in Montpellier and I hope I'll be arriving soon to Spain. I have collected a lot of stories. And so much spontaneous stuff. It's indeed very eye opening journey.

February 22 Update:
Now I'm traveling around Europe, hitchhiking and couchsurfing. I don't have an exact location to go but I want to have amazing experiences. I ask truck drivers where they are going. And if it's somehow towards West I go with them 😂. I have started from Debrecen Hungary and I'm now in Bruxelles

I'M IN MY GAP SEMESTER! I want to find what I want to do in my life. If you have a great idea please tell me. I'm exploring every day.

I love learning languages and exploring. You can check out my YouTube or Instagram @belescigezgin

I can speak English and Turkish super fluently. I can communicate in French and Spanish easily. And I can speak a little Russian, I learnt a bit Magyar/Hungarian and tried to use it in Hungary. But I couldn't really use it 🤣 maybe I need more Hungarian friends.

I am planning to become a ship captain (maybe)(something I discovered in my gap year). I keep changing my ideas. I always want to become something and get bored of it after 2 months.
I love parkour and climbing like Tarzan. I also loved cycling but a car hit me when I was on bicycle -nothing happened to me- the bicycle was smashed so I didn't buy a new bicycle.

Most akarok tanulni magyarul mert fogok tanulni Debrecen Egyetem

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using it to meet people in Istanbul. It was great. It was the best 2 months of my life. Now I'm using it in my European hitchiking trip both to find hosts and use hangouts. I already met amazing people. At the first it was all about money but now it became a thing of meeting those amazing people all around the world. Even if you have so much money you can't really meet those amazing people. I love it!

I love learning languages

I love doing parkour in beginner level

I love meeting people from all around the world 🌎

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was chilling around Istanbul, I went to a boat and asked if I could work for 1 day just to experience boat life. After I lived in that boat for 2 months and slept in cold nights and I got sick 🤣

Just because I speak Russian I managed to go from Edirne to Istanbul 250 km with taxi for free

I hitchiked to someone and ended up sleeping in his van 😂

I slept in Hagia Sofia in Istanbul 🤣

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to learn a language, I learnt English French Spanish and some Hungarian and Russian online without tutoring. So I know the tricks 😂

I can tell you all the adventures that I did and still doing.

I can tell you about how people live in Southeast Turkey Gaziantep which is the capital of Baklava.

I can teach you Turkish

I can teach you how to change your bicycle tire

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
