Hi my name is Fatima. I am born and raised in Amsterdam. My ethnicity is Surinamese Indian, my mother is from India. My dad is born and raised in Surinam. I grew up with three cultures: Dutch, Indian and Surinamese culture.
I am a calm and dreamy person. I like to get lost in my own world. I am a good listener and openminded. I love to hear other peoples stories.
In my free time i love to get in touch with nature. I can spend time alone walking at the beach or the woods. I am more in balance when I am in nature.

I am a positive person and for me its important to surround myself with positive energy. I love to have a deep conversation and reflect about life. I like to see the good in people and motivate them to follow their dreams.

I’ve met beautiful people during my travels and I had interesting conversations about life. I love hearing people view on life, that always gives inspiration. I’ve met people while I was doing voluntarywork and through Airbnb. It’s nice to get in touch with locals this while. Through Couchsurfing I would like to meet local people and learn from each other. As I have lived my whole life in Amsterdam I know as a local best places to visit. I am sure the local people I meet during my travels can tell me more about their city. In this way I get the chance to meet people and learn the city from a local view of point.

I love reading books. My favorites are swedish thrillers like Lars Kepler, Hjorth Rosenfeldt, Rolf bjorlind.
I love the Harry Potter movies. Currently I am reading the books of JK Rowling.
Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino are my favoritet directors. I love their movies. I always loved Batman, so the Batman trilogy are my fave!
Currently I am watching The Walking Dead, Westworld, stranger things and the marvel series!

Solo backpacking in Thailand for one month was life experience. It was my first time traveling alone outside europe, far away from my family, but I never regret it!
