Books: a lot, but especially Jeff Lindsay, Johnatan Carol, Herman Hesse, Bukowski, Kundera and a lot of polish writers like Witkacy and Gombrowicz(!).
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I hitchhiked alone so many times, but the most impressive for me is this sentance "You saved my life" which I heard twice, at least. Lovely people. I walked alone for 350 km through the Basque Country.
