About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Rock Climb a 5.10c by the end of December
Learn German.

ABOUT ME
I'm a young Colombian traveling as much as I can. Life is too short to stay in one place, the world is so vast and gorgeous! I'm always joking, making fun of every single thing that life gives me, even in the worst moment... I must show everyone the best of me. Apart from that, I'm Business and Finance student at University of Missouri Kansas City. I am a very proud Colombian, but also a lover of other cultures, that's why I am fascinated by couch surfing. I'm an athlete, a reader, a lover... i love to read anything, from scientific journals, to poetry to deep soul crushing novels... I'm a person eager to devour knowledge every day, I crave to learn new things every day.

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy, be always listening to what people have to say, be healthy, be open! I love to experience new things, I believe the beauty of human kind is the mind boggling idea of how THE HELL can we be so similar but at the same time so different. The point after all is to experience and enjoy the grandeour life ahead

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly i'll be surfing but eventually when I get my place in shape I'll be more than happy to couch people!

Couch surfed in Chicago on May 2012, met an awesome Australian while doing it. We shared the world-wide famous Deep Dish Pizza at Giordano's, meet up with some other couchsurfers in the Little Goat and had a great time. We discovered the city piece by piece.

Interests

Totally in love with food and languages from other cultures, I'm learning German and I know how to cook different types of dishes, sort of :). I'm in love with reading, I always carry a book and some sort of poetry is always around. I believe that poetry is essential to life, we have important subjects like sciences or humanities, but its through poetry, love and art that we embrace our most human side.
I love sport but I'm also into any topic, history, physics, politics ( I love them but I'm hugely disappointed how they are nowadays) environmentalism, urban design, languages.. Well.. I hope I can entertain you for some time !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eh. Life is amazing, some pretty neat things yet to be done but the most amazing thing I've done is definitely having backpacked through Europe twice. Seeing the sun rise on top of the Prague Castle, carpooled with a rock band from Berlin all the way to Wien. Witnessed a Real Madrid Vs Atletico in the Bernabeu, cheered and celebrated for Germany's World Cup Victory in Berlin . Rock Climbed a 5.10a - 50m wall in the mythical Red River Gorge. Have slept several times on the street while traveling. I've seen too many beautiful things to list...

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I know how to cook, not many colombian dishes but I always carry little snacks from back home! I would be more than happy to teach you spanish or play soccer!

I'm trying to learn German!
Whatever you can teach me! I'm open to any kind of lesson, skill, you name it!

Teach me why you think the world is absolutely beautiful.
