Music: anything but heavy metal. I love global sounds/world music and for a good night out give me Drum 'n Bass.
Book: the discovery of heaven, Harry Mulisch. Persepolis, Marianne Satrapi.
Movie: Persepolis.

Broken my back. My biggest fear turned out to be one of the best experiences in my life.
