Join Couchsurfing to see Felício’s full profile. It’s free!
It’s very hard to me talk about myself, so I would prefer you to see my references. If you are lazy (like me) to read all of that, I will try to talk a little bit about me.
I love to share interesting things with interesting people. I'm not gay, but I'm very open minded and I love to show "my" Rio de Janeiro to all the people. Actually I love to meet all types of people and share all things I know as much as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I wasn't born in Rio de Janeiro, I'm from Vitória, a city 450km (279.617mi) away from here. I came here in 2002 to work on the Navy and I loved here so I stayed.
I think it made me realize that I understand how people feel when they first come here. That’s why I joined CS, to try to help tourist and people like me to experience the best of Rio de Janeiro.
When I had time for it I was in the organization of weekly meeting and many events from CS. You can see some photos from that time in my profile. But now I'm very busy so I can't be so close with Rio's CS anymore, but I keep hosting people, showing my place to them and going to some CS weekly meetings.
I made many friends with CS. So I hope keep meeting extraordinary people from all the world and making nice friends.
I'm an athlete and I love nature, so I prefer a hiking or beach day than a drinking night. But sometimes I love to go to Lapa with friends (Lapa is the best night life in Rio, in my opinion).
So I love to share my life with nice people. I like to meet people from all the world and talking about good ideas, culture, travel experiences and opinions.
I also like extreme sports, outdoor sports, traveling, learning new languages, music, cooking, hanging out, art, dance, having fun, reading, music, books, movies, taking photos, people, outdoor activities, animals, ecology, urban architecture and design, stories and folklore, food, politics, community organizations, current events and newspapers, education, politics, economics, law, technology, exotic drinks, cultural e social projects, biking, dancing, languages, photography, books, learning about other places and cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm World Champion Naval Pentathlon (2015 - South Korea)
We also won the Lifesaving South America Championship (2015 - Argentina)
(you're safer close to us on the beach :P )
I'm a military, I'm doing amazing things all the week. I love it. I'm an athlete and instructor in the Brazilian Navy. I must to keep everybody alive...
My sport is Naval Pentathlon, you can see more on Facebook about it.
I'm also lifeguard... and believe me: saving a life is absolutely amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I live alone, so I like to cook for myself. So if you want, we could share some tips about food. I'd love to make a typical Brazilian food for you. I'm not vegetarian.
I have an acoustic guitar, so we could make a dinner and we could sing together some beautiful music (if we remember the lyrics).
Of course I could help you to improve your Portuguese, but I'd love to improve my English as much as possible. So feel free for choose the language for talking.
I'd appreciate if you could talk about your life, opinion, country... I’d love to experience that with local people as well.
I can give tips about alternative and touristic places in Rio: beaches, hiking, radical sports, perfect views...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could host you. Despite the fact that I live a little bit far from the Rio de Janeiro tourist places, I love the place that I live in and it’s easy to go everywhere.
Google Maps from my place: https://goo.gl/os5hyi
I love to show my city by my motorcycle. There is no traffic and it's easy for us to go everywhere, specially the beach! By the way, I know all the Rio's beaches and trails. If you have an adventure soul, I can show all of them to you! I love to go to the beach. Sometimes I also train there.
Sometimes I like to go to Lapa or some place in "tourist zone" to enjoy the night life. I could show you the best capirinha and the best cachaça of the world.
I am able to share easygoing conversation, art, dance, food, opinions and even some basics classes of swimming.
I believe Couch Surfing is more than hosting free. If you offer the best of you, I could offer you the best of me! ;)
