About Me

Hello! My name is Felipe and I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I am a PhD Student of Chemistry and the bassist of a brazilian heavy metal band. I am also a huge fan of movies and books. I want to have foreign friends for a long-lasting friendship, as well as cultural/language exchange. Please feel free to talk to me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a totally beginner in CS, but I want to make part of this worldwide enterprise. Taste the real culture of a place and get to know new people are the main reasons why I decided to participate in CS.

My first CS experience was in July 2013. I hosted a CS member from Poland for a whole week! We went out together every day and even traveled together. It was a nice experience and I want to do that again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My songs and science articles are the amazing things I've done. The extentions of an unquiet mind, longing to win death.

The most amazing place I've been into was the Atacama Desert. The Altiplanic Lagoons, the Licancabur volcano, the salt flats, the salt caves... Definitely a place I want to go back.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach chemistry, bass guitar and portuguese. These are my main practical skills. I also have notions of musical production, general science and linux computing and programming.

I want to learn hungarian language, oboe, history of the world (from ancient cultures to contemporary history) and beer production! :)

I can share good moments of friendship.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Hungary, Italy, Uruguay
