About Me
#TOOBLESSEDTOBESTRESSED
✈️ I was switching locations A LOT in the last 10 years, and whereever I went, I met amazing people!
#1 My old job was with adidas in Herzogenaurach in Southern Germany. I travelled so much for work!
#2 Took some time off, flew one-way to Argentina and backpacked across the Americas, all the way from Buenos Aires to Toronto.
#3 Moved to Augsburg for my IT Master Degree called "Interactive Media Systems"
#4 In 2017 I lived in Seoul / Korea for a semester abroad, and did some trips to Japan and China
#5 My most recent long-distance trips were to La Reunion (in the Indian Ocean, 2023), Australia and New Zealand (2024) and Colombia (2025).

⚠️ Lazy request = lazy response. Please read the "My Home" section of my profile before asking to stay with me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
📷 Check out my CS album "hosting and surfing"... I guess that answers the question quite well ☺️
Interests
My life is currently centered around sports and nature, and I practice a super active lifestyle.
There is an amazing sports group in Vienna called "Early Birds" and I usually attend their (free!) morning programme at 06:30am ca. 2-3 days per week, especially in summer. Every year I run a marathon (2025 Lisbon, 2024 Warsaw, 2023 Stockholm, 2022 Prague).
My other important hobbies: I am a certified yoga instructor, I learn to be a glider pilot (tiny airplane without engine), and I am a beekeeper.
On the weekends, I go to the mountains a lot, sometimes even to sleep in my tent on top.
You are super-more-than-welcome to join any of these activities. However, if you're looking for a host to party till the morning, I'm probably not much your style.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read every day on my Kindle, while travelling but also when at home. Let's trade ebooks 🤫
Regarding movies, I like "Amélie" and "Into the Wild".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the PCT, partially at least.
What I Can Share with Hosts
For hosts:
I have a ~50:50 ratio of hosting vs. surfing, so I know the "giving" side of CS very well. You can expect a respectful, polite, generous, clean and flexible guest. I'm happy to share costs for grocery shopping or the like. Apart from that, happy thoughts and good vibes 🌻🌈✌️
For guests:
Same logic applies to you, when you choose to stay with me. I am an old-school Couchsurfer and I do expect at least a little something in return. ⚖️ If you're on a tight budget - be creative instead. It's the gesture/idea that counts.
