✈️ I was switching locations A LOT in the last 10 years, and whereever I went, I met amazing people!
#1 My old job was with 𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘀 in Herzogenaurach in Southern Germany. I travelled so much for work (Moscow, Dubai, a month in Singapore)!
#2 Took some time off, flew one-way to Argentina and 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘀, all the way from Buenos Aires to Toronto.
#3 Moved to Augsburg for my IT Master Degree called "Interactive Media Systems"
#4 In 2017 I 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗼𝘂𝗹 / 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱, and did some trips to Japan and China
#5 My most recent long-distance trips were to La Reunion (in the Indian Ocean, 10/2023), Australia and 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗭𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 (12/2023 - 04/2024), Colombia (01/2025) and Argentina/Chile/𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 (11/2025 - 03/2026).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
📷 Check out my CS album "hosting and surfing"... I guess that answers the question quite well ☺️
Interests
My life is currently centered around sports and nature, and I practice a super active lifestyle.
There is an amazing sports group in Vienna called "Early Birds" and I usually attend their 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘁 (free!) at 06:30am, ca. 2-3 days per week, especially in summer.
Every year I 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 (2022 Prague, 2023 Stockholm, 2024 Warsaw, 2025 Lisbon, 2026 Hamburg).
My other important hobbies: I am a certified 𝘆𝗼𝗴𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, I learn to be a 𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 (tiny airplane without engine), and I am a 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿.
On the weekends, I go to the 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 a lot, sometimes even to sleep in my tent on top.
You are super-more-than-welcome to join any of these activities. However, if you're looking for a host to party till the morning, I'm probably not much your style.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read every day on my Kindle, while travelling but also when at home. Let's trade ebooks 🤫
Regarding movies, I like "Amélie" and "Into the Wild".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the PCT and the GPT, partially at least.
What I Can Share with Hosts
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀:
I have a ~50:50 ratio of hosting vs. surfing, so I know the "giving" side of CS very well. You can expect a respectful, polite, generous, clean, communicative, self dependent and flexible guest.
I will either bring a small present or invite you for dinner one evening. However, I'm also a good cook and would be excited if we'd cook together one evening maybe.
Apart from all that, happy thoughts and good vibes.
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀:
Same logic applies to you, when you choose to stay with me. I am an old-school Couchsurfer and I do expect at least a little something in return. ⚖️ If you're on a tight budget - be creative instead. It's the gesture/idea that counts.
