About Me

#TOOBLESSEDTOBESTRESSED

✈️ I was switching locations A LOT in the last 5 years, and whereever I went, I met amazing people 🤩

#1 My old job was with adidas in Herzogenaurach in Southern Germany. I travelled so much for work!

#2 Took some time off, flew one-way to Argentina and backpacked across the Americas, all the way from Argentina to Canada.

#3 Moved to Augsburg for my IT Master Degree called "Interactive Media Systems"

#4 In 2017 I lived in Seoul / Korea for a semester abroad, and did some trips to Japan and China

#5 My most recent trips were to La Reunion (in the Indian Ocean, 2023) and Australia and New Zealand (2024).

I work and live in Vienna, but I embrace the digital nomad lifestyle and work from places all over Europe. If in Austria, on the weekends, I'm almost always in the Alps.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

📷 Check out my CS album "hosting and surfing"... I guess that answers the question quite well ☺️

Interests

🏃🏃🏃 I am an early bird and a very energized person - I practice a super active lifestyle. 3/5 weekday mornings, I get up before 6am to attend a sports group from 06:30 - 07:30 (IG @earlybirdsurbanmovement).

I am currently doing a certification as yoga instructor, I learn to be a glider pilot (tiny airplane without engine), and I prepare to be a beekeeper from spring 2025.

On the weekends, I go to the mountains a lot.

You are super-more-than-welcome to join any of these activities. However, if you're looking for a host to party till the morning, I'm probably not much your style.

🍷🥾 If you visit Vienna in summertime, let's go wine hiking! It's one of the best things to do in Vienna, as it includes friends, sports, outdoors and wine! Explore Austrian vineyards, experience beautiful nature, discover amazing panorama views of Vienna, enjoy a happy day of vinyard hopping!
One could say it's basically a pub crawl, on daytime, outside of town. You can see some photos of past CS wine hikes in my album "hosting and surfing".

Music, Movies, and Books

I read every day on my Kindle, while travelling but also when at home. Let's trade ebooks 🤫

Regarding movies, I like "Amélie" and "Into the Wild".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the PCT, partially at least.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For hosts:
I have a ~50:50 ratio of hosting vs. surfing, so I know the "giving" side of CS very well. You can expect a respectful, polite, generous, clean and flexible guest. I'm happy to share costs for grocery shopping or the like. Apart from that, happy thoughts and good vibes 🌻🌈✌️

For guests:
Same logic applies to you, when you choose to stay with me. I am an old-school Couchsurfer and I do expect at least a little something in return. ⚖️ If you're on a tight budget - be creative instead. It's the gesture/idea that counts.
