Hello and welcome to California!

I'm into camping, hiking, beer and more! I also love computers and everything related to audio engineering and acoustics. Love to play FPS online games. In contrast, I'm also crazy about cross country touring cycling. For my next backpacking adventure I would love to do Seattle to San Diego, however due to a back injury a few years ago I would have to take it much easier this time, but if you are crazy and would like to go for days, weeks, or months cycling on the road let me know! or/and long van/outdoor trips. I work on my own and this often allows me to go for weeks or months into the wild. Last year I was on a road camping trip and ended up in Las Vegas for almost a year without actually planning on it. Now I'm back in LA

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Been here like 16 years already and feel super lucky to be part of this platform since the beginning of its existence ,specially the CS back in the days when this community was mostly flooded with very cool people

It's been unvaluable to interact with people from all over the world. I'm also very thankful for the hospitality and kindness received from hosts when traveling, so I'm here to enjoy connecting with others and help maintain the essence of CS. I have hosted way more people than what you will see in my profile

Interests

Animals, judo, swimming, road cycling, soccer, and one day I wish I can experience and learn like scooba diving or rock climbing

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical tastes are all over the place. I like music so so much I can listen to music all day long no problem. I could probably make you listen to your most familiar favorite songs like you have never heard them before

Movies for me have to be very dynamic with scenes throwing a lot of content (not necessarily action) or else I find them extremely boring and I fall asleep

I haven't read any books, so in the piramid of ignorance I'm firmly stationed at the very top wearing the crown of the king

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completed a bicycle touring trip camping during the winter from the Rocky Mountains to the Grand Canyon. Solo trip without hotels or car support

Last year some dolphins tried to swim around me and I had to swim back shore asap because is really scary there were too many huge of them. Also a couple weeks later I was approached by 2 orca whales and that was the most terrifying experience of my life! I thought I was going to die for real...it's not like a magical encounter like most people think it would be

Please don't be a clean freak or a freak. Be able to provide for yourself and navigate a city on your own. Other than that, I consider myself to be pretty chill and tolerant, and the only damage you can expect from me is that maybe I will bore you to death 😂, but still very much looking forward to hanging out with you as much as possible.
