About Me

I live an active, intentional life: cycling every day, cooking nutrient-rich meals, and exploring how we can live better — both individually and as a society. I’ve co-founded a Thai restaurant in Budapest, worked in urban sustainability research at the Mayor’s Office, and currently live in Copenhagen, where I study digital business, work part-time as a bartender, and develop a drone-based agri-cleaning startup.

At one point, I was biking 500 km a month as a Wolt courier — not for fun, but to build a better life from the ground up. It was tough, humbling, and it changed how I see work, goals, and resilience.

Life is full, but I always have time for meaningful encounters — especially over a good meal or an honest conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use Couchsurfing to meet people I wouldn’t otherwise cross paths with. I appreciate conversations that go beyond small talk, shared routines for a few days, and the kind of exchange that’s simple but genuine.

If I host or meet up, I like to cook something good, walk around, or just sit down with a drink and talk about how we each got here — wherever here is.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎵 Ukrainian folktronicas are banger!
🎬 Realistic drama ones where a true story is processed, for example the Chernobyl miniseries made by HBO.
📖 My Kindle is full of self-development books, but also holds comedies, sci-fis, documentaries, dramas, and so on. I wish I had more time to read...and less time to think about excuses :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

– Swam and fished for piranhas in the River Amazon
– Got drunk with locals in North Korea from Hungarian pálinka
– Slept in a yurt in the Kyrgyz highlands
– Escaped a tropical storm in New Orleans
– Rode the Trans-Siberian railway from Vladivostok to Moscow, for 9288 km
– Slid off the Great Wall in a bobsled
– Saw the original sarcophagus of Chernobyl
– Slept in a Cold War nuclear bunker

— all before my 30s.

Teach, Learn, Share

👨🏻‍🏫 Teach: How to cook affordable, high-protein meals (with minimal waste). What it’s like to launch a startup while studying. Life abroad — both the smooth parts and the messy ones.
👨🏻‍🎓 Learn: How you live, cook, think, or manage your time. Always curious about other people’s routines, local culture, and practical knowledge.
🔁 Share: My time, focus, and good food if there’s a kitchen. I can also offer unusual travel stories, perspectives from Budapest and Copenhagen, and a good sense of when to talk — and when to let the moment be quiet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m not here for free accommodation. As a solo traveler, I use Couchsurfing to see a place through someone else’s lens — and I enjoy offering the same when people visit my hometown or current base in Copenhagen.

I like meeting people who are curious, reflective, and up for sharing stories or a bit of quality time — whether it’s over food, a walk, or just being around each other without pressure.

I’m independent and easy to host. I’ll adapt to your pace, help with anything practical, and I’m pretty efficient in the kitchen if there’s a chance to cook.
