About Me

"Good judgment comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgment." - Will Rogers

I am a tech insane guy who also loves traveling, adventures, climbing, and music. I think that what makes a trip special are not the places that you visit, but the people that you meet. And CouchSurfing allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people in my life. If life has a meaning, I think it is about sharing, learning and growing with others. One of my current dreams is to acquire geographic freedom working online with something that makes an impact in the life of other people. I think online education is a good field for that. I am currently a freelancer in data science education, which is helping me with this dream :)

I recently finished a 1.5 year backpacking in Europe. I'm back to Brazil to recharge my batteries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hosted with a friend over two hundred surfers in Foz do Iguaçu. I stayed at someone else's place (CSsurfed) for the first time while living in the United States.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- 1.5 years backpacking and volunteering in Europe with no defined route: https://www.polarsteps.com/FernandoWittmann/493469-eurotrip
- I drove all the way from Portland to San Francisco on a 79s Volvo with manual direction with an expired driver's license. Never doing that again!
- my one year life experience in the United States;
- a hitchhiking/couchsurfing/camping trip in South America;
- a hiking with a friend in a rock mountain where I got lost in the dark with no lights;
