About Me

I left Italy (and my law degree) in 2008 and I have been travelling, working and living abroad ever since. Currently driving around China in my campervan.

I travel slowly, I like to stay in one place long enough to blend in with the culture, understand the traditions and live like a local would. I'm interested in people and their habits, lifestyle, passions. I like to eat what you eat, visit your favourite places (especially non-touristic ones) and listen to your life stories.

Throughout these years on the road I have visited 60+ countries, travelling in different ways: hitchhiking (including on boats), motorcycle, camper van, Couchsurfing, camping, hostels. I have slept in the weirdest places and embarked on some crazy adventures! I have a few interesting, scary or funny stories to share over a meal or a drink.

After working as a scuba dive instructor, tour guide, photographer, travel writer, yoga teacher, translator and content writer, web designer and a few more things, I currently embraced a fully digital nomad lifestyle and work remotely as the marketing and IT manager for a yoga school in Thailand.

Let's meet soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has changed my way of travelling and it has become part of my life. I would like to meet up with local people for a drink, a walk and, if possible, find a place to sleep. I'm very low maintenance, I do my best to be respectful and try not to bother.

Interests

Scuba diving, hitch-hiking, yoga, writing, sailing, rock climbing, photography, horse riding, nature, cooking. And everything else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Live my life enjoying every single bit of it.

I sailed across the Atlantic ocean on a Beneteau First '35. Hitchhiked in almost every country I've visited. Rode a 1982 Vespa scooter from Italy to North Cape and published a book about the experience. I dived with sharks and whales. Hiked the Patagonia mountains for two weeks. I got to pilot a plane (for a short time!). I was caught in an electrical storm in the desert. And a few more experiences :)

Teach, Learn, Share

We all have something to teach and something to learn. I'm willing to share all I've learnt and learn everything I haven't yet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will be happy to practice yoga together, share what I've learnt through traveling, cook some food and help out however I can.
