About Me

I left my lawyer career behind and spent the last 9 years travelling around the world opening myself to new experiences, people, jobs. I try to take the good out of unpleasant situations and learn something new from everyone I meet.
I am thrilled by new adventures and challenges: that's what keeps me alive.
I like writing (I wrote a book about a trip from Italy to Norway on an old Vespa 125), sailing (I crossed the Atlantic ocean on a Beneteau First 35), scuba diving, photography, indigenous medicine and traditions.
I spent the last few years practicing and teaching what makes me feel good more than anything else: yoga and meditation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only Couchsurfing has changed my way of traveling but it has become part of my life. I am on Couchsurfing because I couldn't imagine myself traveling in another way. I want to be with local people, spend time in their homes, see how they live, eat, work, how they relate to each other, what music they listen to, learn their traditions, know their beliefs, make friends with them and eventually blend in with them.

Scuba diving, hitch-hiking, yoga, meditation, vipassana, writing, sailing, photography, horse riding, living in close contact with nature, cooking food (I'm vegetarian). And everything else.
