Learning how to be present and how to be myself as much as possible.
I combine working in an NGO supporting foster families and Global Education - creating and leading programmes for students and teachers.
That gives enough flexibility to enjoy life and do things which I like and which make sense to me - meditation, trying to understand myself and the world, organise outdoor activities for young people.
As I made a Star Wars summer camp a few years ago, let me share some Jedi wisdom :)
"Greed and fear of loss are the roots that lead to the tree of evil."
"Easy is the path to wisdom for those not blinded by themselves"
"Compromise is a virtue to be cultivated, not a weakness to be despised."
"Attachement is not compassion."
"Fear not for the future, weep not for the past."
Buddhism is very close to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now, I mostly surf and have fun doing that
I have joined in November 2010. I surfed a couple of couhes with a couple of amazing people. The best time I had in Japan and the most adventurous time in Kenya.
Explore and understand, study about the world and development issues. Prepare activities for kids (summer camps, weekend trips), spending time with them, help them become decent and happy persons. Cycling, walking, swimming, reading.
