ABOUT ME

I am 33 years old. I once took almost 2 years off work to explore and search for adventure around the world. The first place I visited on my travels was the Yukon, I fell in love with it here and decided to move to Whitehorse once I was finished! Now here I am and still loving it. Currently I live with my girlfriend Stephie in a geodesic dome house in Whitehorse. I also have a chubby cat named Galway. He's pretty lazy but he can move when he has to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like hosting and surfing. Listening to other travellers stories and sharing my own with them. To get a taste of local life when I travel and to share mine with travellers. Above all I enjoy meeting new people!

I generally only accept surfers who have hosted themselves. For me, couch surfing is about having local experiences while I'm travelling but also about giving back to travellers whenever I can. I like to host people who have the same outlook and not just for their own selfish gain. So, If you have many great references from hosts but none from guests, your chances of staying with me are pretty low. But I do sometimes host travellers with no references as I know how hard it can be starting out. Send me a request and lets chat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've quit a job I was unhappy with, packed up and travelled abroad...Twice!! First time was for 18 months to India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Argentina and Chile. The second time was for 8 months to Norway (including Svalbard), Ireland, Germany and Myanmar.
