I have hosted many friends, friends of friends, and occasionally complete strangers. All informally, love the idea of a formal way to do this sort of thing.
So far I have hosted more than 180 CSers in 7 years and surfed myself a few times in the US and South America. All positive experiences.
Outdoors (hiking/camping/kayaking/skiing/boarding/snowshoeing/biking/etc.), travel, history, food, reading, living and learning, environment, wilderness, urbanism.
