My current objective? To always find satisfaction and happiness in all I am and have right now, right here ... while being ready to accept and welcome all that is still to come.

ABOUT ME

I follow my heart, am always ready for a new adventure and if I decide NOT to do something, lack of courage is never the reason why. Travelling the world and countless new encounters keep broadening my horizon to no avail and I am planning to keep it that way till the day I pop my clogs.
I'm a travel writer, always out and about in the world and collecting stories by the side of the road. Apart from that, I've published 4 novels, one humouristic one about life in Italy and the first 3 volumes of my globetrotter-crime-series. To me the ultimate freedom is being able to work from anywhere, any time. And yes, I really love my life :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hosting people whenever I can or meeting travellers in town, joining local meetings occasionally, meeting locals when I go travelling or surfing people's couches too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some interesting people via CS, be it while hosting/surfing or while meeting other local couchsurfers in the cities where I used to live/am living now.

I can always help people out with my languages skills (like translating for them if necessary) and show them interesting places in the city I'm living in right now. Also, I have a lot of interesting and funny travel stories to share. I always enjoy learning about other people's travel experiences and their impressions of other cities, countries and cultures. If you have interesting places to show me and tell me about, you might eventually find your name and picture in some renown German travel magazine - if you're up for it! :)
