Hi there!

My name is Flore, I'm 23 and I currently study biomedical engineering in Grenoble, in France. I have always loved sport and I have discovered how amazing it was to live near the mountains when I moved to Grenoble :) I indeed spent lots of weekends hiking or skiing during the last 3 years. Otherwise my favorite sport is handball. I also love (I should say need) music an I have played the piano for 11 years (and I plan to start again when I settle somewhere!).

More generally, I live my life trying not to regret anything, which I achieve by moving a lot, spending as much time as I can with my friends and family and not hesitating going to the unknown. I am an optimist person and I always try to consider what happens to me in a positive way. I really enjoy meeting new people and discovering new cultures. Travelling and spending time with my friends are probably the things that make me the most happy.

Currently, I am doing a practicum at UNSW in Sydney, for a little less than 3 months, and I plan on enjoying this experience as much as I can! After the internship, I will travel for 4 weeks along the east cost and plan to enjoy for a short time the backpacker life :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I registered on Couchsurfing a year ago when I travelled to South America. I was on my own and I met wonderful people thanks to this network so I decided to do it again in Australia :) As we are two french students we would love to meet people with whom we could discover the city (not sure about the grammar of this sentence... would be great to practice our english too!).

As we plan on moving from Sydney during some weekends, we thought it would be nicer to share good moments with people living in the surroundings rather than with french people in hostels :)

I listen to all kinds of music, except hardrock maybe. Right now I enjoy typing one music on youtube and listen to the playlist proposed, which works pretty well as I discover musics everyday! :)

I love sharing musics with my friend and with people I meet in general.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the best experience in my life has been my travel in South America. I left alone and traveled for 2 months through Argentina, Bolivia and Peru. I saw landscapes I had not even dreamed about, I met such wonderful persons and I learned so much about myself and about the world. I left alone but I have never been alone there, which is also why it was such an amazing experience :)
