Bonjour!

My name is Florence, I am 24 years old and I am from Quebec, the French part of Canada. Back in April 2016, I left my home town to go and explore the world!! I started in Spain, where I had my first experiences as a couchsurfer and it was the best decision I have ever made. After visiting South-East Asia, Sri-Lanka, South Africa, I decided to come over to England to work for a bit. While I am here I am looking to explore the beautiful countries in Europe!

Before I left to travel, I was a dance teacher and professionnal dancer in Montreal. I worked with children and adults and I shared my love and passion for dance with them. I've also studied in health sciences and massage therapy. I was always been passionate about a lot of subjects such as sciences, travel and arts.. You could say I am someone who is very curious, active and always ready for new adventures. I am a strong believer that you can achieve anything you want.

I am currently travelling around the world since April 2016. Couchsurfing is an amazing way to immerse yourself in the cultures of the cities you visit. It is a great way to meet new people and share our love for travelling. In the past year, I can say that my greatest memories come from the people I have met on my trips. I hope that in my present European adventure, I can keep meeting new people and keep creating good memories through couchsurfing!

I mostly listen to any music that makes me feel something inside. Music is part of my daily life as a dance teacher and performer. Music has so much power.

I absolutely love to read. It's my way of traveling while staying still. I am currently ready Shantaram and loving this masterpiece!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I guess it is leaving on my own for the first time to travel around the world! It was a crazy dream of mine and I am so proud that I am living it right now! I have met so many amazing people, created beautiful friendship that will last a lifetime, I have seen wonders of nature and the most amazing landscape, learned to bike, learned to dive, did canyoning, ziplining, safaris...!! It has been a wonderful year!

I really enjoy cooking, and I think I am good at it! ;) My favourite is breakfast! I also think that cooking is meant to be shared. Cook with someone or for someone is always gratifying and fun.

I can teach you some new dance moves and I want to learn some new styles of dance too if by chance you know some! I don't need lot to be happy, share a smile, learn something new, talk about our different cultures, play some music, share a meal, do some exploring if you are available... ! :)
