Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I can't host 'cause I don't have a proper place for it (by now!), but I can help sharing activities with visitors in the city I live, giving advice and recommendations. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far, so great! I have met tons of absolutely lovely people, and got some incredible stories out of such encounters. Looking forward to making some new stories :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to the music of Joss Stone,Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, Franz Ferdinand, Florence and the machine, Arctic Monkeys, soundtracks, etc. Some of my favourite authors are Margaret Atwood, Terry Pratchett, Roald Dahl, Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges. I also like Gabriel García Márquez, Edgar Allan Poe, Stanislaw Lem, Isaac Asimov, Oscar Wilde, etc. Movies and TV series, those of adventures and fantastic events. Spirited Away is definitely my favourite movie in such categories. It doesn't matter how many times I've watched it, it always gives me goosebumps. Absolutely magical.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Going to London on holidays and deciding on a whim that I would move there. I had nothing on me and knew nobody. Starting from absolute scratch in a very different country has taught me so many important life lessons. Best one being, it installed an unshakeable confidence in myself and my resourcefulness.
