I grew up in the south of France, in Lyon (a great city, which has a lot to offer considering food, nature, and culture!), an hour away from the Alps, and 2hours away from the Mediterranean Sea. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I really consider travelling like a way to know more about a country's culture and the way of living of its people. Travelling via couchsurfing is the best way to match this objective to my opinion. I had very good experiences of travelling that way in latinoamerica, Europe, and Israel, and keep really good memories of these times !

One Amazing Thing I've Done
In high school we had organized a humanitarian trip to Madagascar. The goal was to find sponsors to help us gather enough money to help malagasies families buy animals for the work in fields. It was a really formative experience that taught us a lot about the country and way of life of Malagasy's people.
