About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to enjoy and enrich the lives of those who cross my path, and to lengthen my path, so that many may cross it. Oh yeah, also to finally submit a story...

My mission is best explained if you read my reference. The travelers will tell you all you need to know

ABOUT ME

Every year, at Carnival time, I get a new suit!

I like people, but I'm not so fond of 'the people'. I like excitement, but am quite mellow and pensive. Love acceleration, and 1968 mustangs, but ride a bike instead. Travel lot, but not so much to see the sites, rather to meet other human beings with different perspectives from my own.

PHILOSOPHY

This is it; there are no replays, bonus lives or extra balls. It is our responsibility to make sure that the good outweighs the bad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to open my door and hand over a key to the city, take you out to great restaurants, show you the culture, music, and maybe even get you in a boat in the marshes and swamps. Generally, I want to make your stay an unforgettable experience.
Also, I think that couchsurfing is more than a cheap place to stay for a night as you travel to a destination, that is, I do not offer a free hotel. If you want to stay in New Orleans for a few days, get to know me and the city, then I will gladly host you. If you want to stop in for a bed and a shower, then please look elsewhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted over 75 groups, but it's been years since I was active. Times change and life changes, so here I am again, ready to make new friends. Every time I take someone through this beautiful city, I get to see it with new eyes, myself.

Interests

reading, writing, talking with others, thinking, shooting billiards, throwing the frisbee, laughin, tellin jokes and learnin new ones. Making costumes for mardi gras, and many other occasions in New Orleans. Oh yeah, love to support that live, local music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've flown, without wings, but just for a moment. Survived 18 automobile accidents, some at highway speeds, and been through a windshield twice, then I learned to use my seatbelt.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can turn you on to some mighty fine Brass, Jazz, Blues or New Orleans Funk.
And I can teach you about life: nucleic acids, proteins, carbohydrates and lipids, all bundled together into something magnificent.
