I like travelling and unexpectable..

Hosting is also cool, it is like travelling, couchsurfers bring their stories with them but it is super cheap and doesn't eat my holiday.

Hah I looked at my profile after years, travelling is fun but I do not see a higher purpose in it. So I'm not so big fan of travelling anymore :D It is just pleasure (especially when nothing worked as planned), maybe a little better than material things

Seems to me like more fun to explore new places and also I think I can show more interesting things in my city then when someone comes just on his own.
