ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and consider myself a pretty awesome host. I'm very active and can't sit still for too long. I'm an early bird but I don't eat worms.

PHILOSOPHY

Love and be loved. I think laughing keeps you young, and I enjoy pushing jokes to the limit. I'm easily amused, and have a good sense of humour. I love food, sharing creating and eating together. I love to talk, I mean really love to talk. I have been blessed with great friends and I try really hard to put effort into my relationships. I believe in the power of kindness.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed for the first time last year while in Ireland. I met the most wonderful couple in Galway and they were so generous, warm and friendly. It was such a treat to be among friends while so far from home.

Interests

Surfing, biking, reading, games, music. I love to play music with other people, any kind at any level. I am a big fan of anything outdoors, I'm not especially good at any one particular activity but I try really hard and have a great time doing it. I love the city I live in and would love to show others around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love live music, anything that gets my toes tapping. Music absolutely makes my world go 'round! There isn't much music that I don't like and I'm always interested in hearing new stuff. I play a little guitar and love singing along, although I'm not much of a singer. I love to read, some favourite books are Sweetness in the Belly, Island of the Blue Dolphins, Memoirs of a Geisha, Eat, Pray, Love, The Red Tent, The Harry Potter series etc. I enjoy all kinds of movies, except horrors. I especially like fantasy/adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove across Canada at 21 in a van with a couple of friends. An amazing way to see Canada!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a good cook, and would love to share what I know and learn from others. I love making things, including my own jewelry and pottery.
