I consider myself an exceedingly curious person whose search for the meaning of life and all of the universe's mysteries has led to an existence made of serene contemplation, reading, travelling, observing and listening to others.
Can’t say for sure that i’m getting closer to "the truth" but my quest for knowledge remains as active as ever. I regard meeting people as a chance to soak in the most from their stories and energy and to share mine in the process.

Money saving is obviously a reason but far from the most important. It is all about the opportunity to meet someone local on a closer level, thus heightening the authenticity of the travelling experience. As a host I love to share my space and greet guests as family. As a guest I behave in the respectful manner I expect from guests.

Piano playing tops the list. Then reading, swimming in the ocean, nature walking, eating great food, having meaningful conversations, doing sports, listening to music, singing, dancing, being silly..

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Love classical music the most (Bach is my idol) but am also a fan of classic rock oldies from the 60's and 70's and good-old "corny" 80's pop. Also love jazz and am open to quality electronic music and all things avant-garde. Music means a lot to me and as long as it feels like it has depth, I’ll enjoy it.

It's hard to pick a favorite book but Siddharta (Hermann Hesse), Of Human Bondage (Somerset Maugham) and Crime and Punishment (Dostoievsky) are surely on my top 10.

Again it's hard to pick a favorite movie but I will mention "One flew over a cuckoo's nest", "Mulholland Drive" and "Persona". My favorite director is David Lynch.

I see every day as the ultimate gift, which makes it hard to single out something. Spending the warm summer night under the stars in Israel’s Negev desert is a fond memory and was certainly a remarkable spectacle. How about swimming in the cold North Sea on a Norwegian island? Rocking my bones hard in a Rio de Janeiro nightclub... There’s three right here!
