I'm an open-minded guy, who likes to travel around the world, meet new people and learn to know other cultures as well. A friend once said that I am a person who can start a conversation with everybody. I grew up on a small island called Fehmarn in the Baltic Sea. Before finishing high school I went around Europe with two friends going by train. We travelled one month through 10 different countrys. There I discovered my passion for globe-trotting. After the final exams I did Work &Travel in New Zealand for 8 months and visited Bali and Thailand. Currently working in Lübeck. Now my travels are mostly limited to the time I have vacations.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
-You learn to know other people, not in the sense of a 'real' tourist, but rather having more insight into the everyday life. -Discovering places, you would never been able to find out without the knowledge of a local -Couchsurfing hasn't got a commercial background, in opposition to touristic activities, which are mainly based on economic interests the philosophy of learning to know people you just made contact with -as a host: you don't need to travel, the travellers stay at your home -as a guest: people you meet are really interesting to talk to and have mostly a global point of view

One Amazing Thing I've Done
When I started my first surflesson. It was a unbelievable feeling, which catched me to do it again and again. Visiting Donut Island (Whangamata by Kayak) Trecking through the deep north of coromandel (flechterbay). Especially the stangled sky in the night was uncomparable to what I had seen before. I Did a Bungee-Jump from the Auckland harbour Bridge Diving at the Turtle Point on Gili T, I still have a bracelet as a reminder.
