Hey! I’m JJ — originally from Turkey, now living in Sweden. I work as a senior software engineer, but my real passion lies in exploring new places, connecting with people, and living life with curiosity and intention.

I’ve lived in 6 countries and traveled to around 20 so far. I’m always up for spontaneous adventures — whether it’s camping under the stars, dancing in a park, or just sharing stories over a simple meal.

I’m deeply into contact improvisation dance — I love how it brings people together through movement and trust. I also enjoy pottery, getting my hands muddy and creating something grounding. Lately, I’ve been practicing kickboxing and working on becoming vegetarian — both are challenging in their own ways but very rewarding.

For me, Couchsurfing is about more than just a place to sleep. It’s about exchanging perspectives, sharing little rituals from daily life, and making genuine human connections.
