ABOUT HOSTING:
I live in a studio apartment in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. My apartment is a short walk to the red line train and several buses, and only a few steps away from the beach. My space is small, so I am only open to hosting one person at a time for one night. I have a very large closet which is basically a small room, and that is where you would sleep. Despite being small, my apartment is very sunny and has a great view of the city and Lake Michigan.

I prefer hosting people that are actually interested in spending some time together. Let's share dinner, go for a walk, make art. That said, I don't feel a need to be constantly interacting; quiet time is also welcome.

ABOUT ME:
I spent six years of my life traveling, until I moved to Chicago last year with the intention of staying here long-term. Most of my travel was oriented around meeting others and learning about new cultures, new ways of looking at the world. This remains one of the main reasons I am on CouchSurfing. The other is to support other travelers on their own paths, just as so many people helped me when I was the one moving through the world.

I spent a week riding cargo boats down the Amazon River to cross the border from Colombia to Peru.

I can help you practice English or Spanish or teach you how to juggle, or we can make weird noises together and move our bodies in funny ways. We can also have serious talks about serious subjects while sitting on chairs.
