Overview
About Me
We are a nature and peace loving family of 4 kids, Nelson (11), Rocco (8), Kiran (5) and little Ayari (2), plus the parents Felipe 48 and Gaby 43.
Being a multilingual family, we speak together in Swiss German, French and Spanish.
Felipe has grown up in France, but his parents are from South America. Gaby is originally from Switzerland, being half Swiss and half Japanese.
We met each other while studying in Spain and we have been living together in Spain for almost 20 years now.
We try to live in harmony with our surroundings, respecting the life of all other living beings and appreciating the beauty of each little thing that life offers us in every moment.
Just being with our kids, watching them grow and accompanying them side by side on their journey of life is what fulfills us most.
We are lucky to live peacefully in a wonderful place in the middle of a natural park.
Several times a year, we love to travel and discover other countries, cultures, people and languages. It is a very important part of our and our kids' lives and we enjoy it so much.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love to discover new places together with our kids. Each country has so much beauty and fascinating sites to offer.
Several times a year we make a little trip to some new destination and prepare everything with much love and enthusiasm together with our kids. They love to study travellers guides, metro plans and street maps.
Yet we have realized that there has always been one big thing missing, the connection with the people of those countries. The little contact while buying food or on public transport or on playgrounds is not enough, it doesn't allow you to get to know the people in their heart.
Couchsurfing is for us the perfect opportunity to really connect with people from all over the world by both surfing and hosting.
We would love to share not only home, but also some nice conversations, delicious meals and playtime.
For our kids it would be a wonderful experience to share time with adults and children from other countries, cultures, even without knowing their language.
We know that it could be a challenge to find hosts with enough space for a family of six, but we don't want to give up on our dream.
In the meanwhile, we would be happy to share our little home with wonderful people who would like to spend some days with a big family.
