About Me

I fell in love with Berlin and moved over here and now call it home. I often host interesting gatherings of weird folks from across the city and the world, with the intention of creating community and making the world a more interesting, welcoming, caring place. Generosity has always been a core value to me, and I love the idea behind couchsurfing - connecting with people from across the world, sharing that traveler energy, and making things possible for you that wouldn't be otherwise!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a cool huge loft that screams for having neat people come and enjoy it.

I used to work at KitKat and have boxes full of clothes for the club. I think it's a blast to show people this remarkable parallel universe.

To me, the point of travelling is to meet interesting and cool people and see a window into the world that you wouldn't otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books

Since coming to Berlin I've fallen in love with techno, because it's the beats that bring the city to life. There's something very special to me about clubs like KitKat and Berghain.

Goth, Industrial, and Metal have been my favorite genres for years and years.

Live music is what makes me feel alive

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had a passionate discussion with a ministry of state employee in North Korea about the relative merits of American style capitalist democracy and North Korean style communist dictatorship while on a bus in Pyongyang

Teach, Learn, Share

We all have such interesting things to learn from each other, and I love to have those great conversations.

I remember what it was like to be a penniless traveler, and like to enrich your time here in Berlin with things you that might not have otherwise fit in the budget, but are the sorts of things you'll remember forever.
