Overview
About Me
Currently exploring the use of machine learning mediated molecular modeling for the development of synthetic metabolic pathways-- i.e. faster photosynthesis for direct air capture of carbon.
My father was a comet and my mother a cosmic wind. I contend with nihilists, accidental fascism, slovenliness, and Lethe. I believe in mathematicians, adventurers, and love poets most of all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the immediate-term, I'm moving to Boulder to be with my favorite girl, albeit with comparatively short notice. It's been my experience in the past when getting to know a new city that it's best to entangle onself with cool people right away rather than being isolated in a room, if possible. I'm used to going the AirBnB route, but I've heard great things about Couchsurfing as a means to quality entangling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh on my 250cc, Gaⅼⅼusаki. At one point the exhaust heat set one of my saddlebags on fire.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know my way around a POSIX command line and can automate all sorts of things. Ask me if there's some bit of repetitive drudgery in your life that you're pretty sure your computer could do for you on its own-- maybe I can help! I can also hold up my end of abstract conversations and debates and play a middling 1400-1500 game of chess. Particularly interested in machine learning and computation biology at the moment, but slurp up new perspectives and paradigms across domains like soup on a winter day.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Banter, good conversation and vibes, technical assistance, a sense of the miraculous in everyday life.
