Interests

Hmm there are many, and they're quite scattered. I'm fascinated by how technology is changing our lives and I like to always keep an eye on what Silicon Valley is up to. I studied development economics so I'm very interested in learning about the standard of living in economically 'developing countries' (I don't like that phrase at all...) and how it can be improved. My family is full of artists and musicians, so despite my boring right-brain Econ background, I think I have some creativity hiding in me somewhere. I really love good filmmaking, good music, and good writing, and I secretly hope to be able to dabble in one of those three sometime soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into good music – the genre isn't especially important. I tend to find my favorite artists in the indie genre, as well as some creative rap.

As for movies, my fave genre is drama, but I'm also into quality movies of other genres. I love everything that Wes Anderson has ever done, and I appreciate great character acting.
