trying to figuring out my next destination
Well, I had to update this (my old description needed a little update). I m a person with an interesting multicultural background ,I feel at ease in different environments, I love getting to know new people, cultures, food... I'm curious, spontaneous, good listener. I love traveling, too...
I basically love enjoying these little things in life that are so natural and so important: nature, food, music, friends, landscapes...
I love the "carpe diem" philosophy and thinking positive...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participated in CS in so many ways, as hosting people (pretty much before, as my new place is very small...typical parisian style), attending meetings, hanging out with couchsurfers around different cities around the world, attending languages meetings...
I work but I try to spend time with couchsurfers and showing them the city I´m living in, Paris. It's always a pleasure to meet brave travelers :).
I have had so many experiences with couchsurfing, in both ways (surfing and hosting) Overall, I must say they are positive! I met incredible people with amazing backgrounds, amazing experiences, incredible dreams and wanting to share the CS vibe :).
I love travelling (if it wasn t clear yet :)...), listening to music, reading, going out , getting lost in cities, talking about life or philosophy with good friends in a good bar (or in a bad bar, :)). I love learning new languages, dancing...
In the city, I love riding bikes. it´s a powerful feeling, especially when you have the road only for yourself...or amazing landscapes ;).
...and the beach, listening to the waves breaking, the wind...
I love also spontaneous gatherings, parties and unexpected amazing, wonderful plans :=)
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: American beauty, Amelie, a clockwork orange, the Truman show, Match Point, Pulp fiction, Kill bill (part 1 and 2), Big Fish...
Music: I like different kinds of music: rock and indie rock ( Peter Bjorn and John, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Clap your hand say yeah, White Stripes, Kaiser chiefs, Klaxons, Lily Allen), and also classical music and instrumental music (Beethoven, Saranbande, Surjan Stevens, Belle and Sebastian). for going out, more electro/techno...
I also like Crystal Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Placebo, Deerhunter, Birdy Nam Nam, 2manydjs, Arcade Fire, Magnetic Man, Tame Impala
Books: I love books with surrealism and magic ( Paulo coelho, julio cortázar, Paul Auster...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going as solo traveler to Myanmar and Thailand for a couple of weeks. It was amazing, in every single way. I met the most amazing people ever and I enjoyed beautiful landscapes...
Eating an amazing ice cream in Italy and finding another "kind-of-the-same-taste" in Barcelona. Simply amazing.
The first time your feet touch the sand and the first time you go into the sea (of the year). simply AWESOME! Summer starts in that precise moment for me :)
Nature: Amazing thing ever!
Staying in Paris longer than expected, looking for a job and surviving :)
Taking a bus to France when I was 16 to see people I haven't known very well ( and now are a really good friends!)
Going with friends to Brescia ( an Italian town) and decided with 3 of them to go to Milan ( without money, telephone...nothing!). It was incredible! My friend could find a house in the middle of Milan and we went to the best discotheques without paying nothing! ( during the day we've survived with pasta...).
one thing is for sure: Amazing things come traveling!
Teach, Learn, Share
