About Me

in Europe...

oh, an interesting question that it was time to update a little bit. It´s always hard to describe yourself, especially if your personal perception it´s not the same of others...so, the perfect situation would be to ask my friends! Maybe this is not possible as you may not know me personally so...you can have a look to the references below ^^. Although, I can put my two cents and trully say I`m very curious, funny and open-minded. I want to discover new places and new people> it makes me feel so good! and I love sharing my experiences too. basically, I love to communicate, to get to know people and enjoy good company! I´m a good listener too :=).
I love walking down the street with the sun above and good music on my mp3 player. I love going to concerts, cinemas, art exhibitions and enjoy a good time with a good company

I love the "carpe diem" philosophy, It's amazing the concept of appreciate all around us without waiting to do it another day....
Think positive!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I participated in CS in so many ways, as hosting people, attending to meetings, walking with couchsurfers around the cities I´ve lived in (Barcelona and Paris, so far)and I attended to language meetings.

Lately, I don´t have a lot of spare time as I´m leaving soon to Thailand so I cannot host (basically, I am leaving my beloved flat and I´ll be a nomad for the next few weeks!). However, I´ll try to help as much as I can, but believe me, it´s hard to answer to so many mails per day! If your questions are related to Barcelona, hostels, etc, I highly recommend you to post it on the Barcelona group or to look it up on the internet. Good vibes!

I have had so many experiences with couchsurfing, in both ways (surfing and being a host) Overall, I must say they are positive, although I would like to point out a few things:

- I know you may be aware already but Cs is not a free hostel! I´m happy for you if you are on holidays but if you´re planning to come with a group of friends for a week and you just want to save up so money in accomodation, I highly recommend you to not send me any message. Hosting is a good opportunity of knowing other cultures and I want to meet my hosts, not just being a tool for saving money in the city.

- I won´t reply to impersonal messages, general messages sent to thousand of people, or messages with my wrong name! . Please, you can still complete this basic information and I will be really grateful if you do it.

- If you're new to CS, welcome! But unfortunately, I won´t host people with no experience, no references and especially if you have created your profile one day prior your trip. I´ll be happy to enjoy a coffee or a drink, though. But please, make the minimum effort to complete your profile to know you better, and especially to put a photo on your profile to know who you are! (very important if I have to meet you :))

After this, and coming back to the CS experiences, I´ve meet very nice people and I´ve learned a lot about others, other cultures, other behaviours, other attitudes, other sense of humor, other way of thinking and, also, I discovered a lot of things about myself :)

I love travelling( It's such as an amazing feeling of freedom and excitement being in a different place than yours...), listening to music, reading, going out with friends or alone ( to the cinema, to the beach, or just for walking), finding beautiful places to drink or eat something in ciutat vella ( in the centre of Barcelona), talking about life or philosophy with good friends in a good bar( or in a bad bar, the important is the company :)), I love learning new languages, I love dancing...

New exciting interests: being completely lost in a good city with a good company, or simply alone. discovering cities with their public external transportation (especially buses, tramways and trains)
In my city, I love riding my bike (well, actually it´s a "Bicing" bike as mine got stolen 2 times and I stop buying any bike!).
Love to be on the beach, listening to the waves breaking.
I love also spontaneous gatherings, parties and unexpected amazing, wonderful plans :=)
I love Barcelona and the million nice plans and things you can do per day :=)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eating an amazing ice cream in Italy and finding another "kind-of-the-same-taste" in Barcelona. Simply amazing. One of the best things ever B)

The first time your feet touch the sand and the first time you go into the sea (of the year). simply AWESOME! Summer starts in that precise moment for me :)

Nature: Amazing thing ever!

Staying in Paris longer than expected, looking for a job and surviving :)

Taking a bus to France when I was 16 to see people I haven't known very well ( and now are a really good friends!)

Going with friends to Brescia ( an Italian town) and decided with 3 of them to go to milan ( without money, telephone...nothing!). It was incredible! My friend could find a house in the middle of milan and we went to the best discotheques without paying nothing! ( during the day we've survived with pasta...).

Most of all my amazing things I've done it travelling!

Teach, Learn, Share

All right... I can give you a lot of nice vibes! I wanna spread them all over! :)Also, I cook pasta pasta for you ( improving in new sauces). I can teach you some Spanish( my mother tongue). I can try with Italian and English :). I want to learn more about other countries and people, yeah!.
I can also share my stories ( and you can share yours :)).
