I am an easy-going and relatively talkative person. I could easily start conversations with strangers even a taxi driver haha. It is always exciting for me to meet people with different background and life stories.

Originally I am from China; currently I am living in Tartu, Estonia. And I am studying to be an English language teacher. And of course I am also a foreign languages lover. It would be great if we could share our interesting stories/ experience about learning languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am trying to witness more of this world and I love the feeling when I am on my way. Things happened and people I came across were super precious for the memory. Couchsurfing offers me direct chances to contact the local who would treat me like an old friend in strange cities. How amazing it is! With Couchsurfing it is easier to experience more culture and explore fantastic parts of a city. There are also opportunities of sharing my own stories to those who are interested. This is the amazing part of Couchsurfing.

Personally I have preference for novels which are adapted into movies or TV series e.g. The Pianist (one of my favorite)
I love singing but mostly in bathroom haha
I enjoy all kinds of music and not big fun of rock (except music of Chris Daughtry)
Amateur ballroom dancer. Not sure whether I can call myself dancer cause I practiced ballroom dance only in university without professional guidance. So my skills suck haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tried Estonian hot mixed naked sauna (around 110° C) and then jumped into cold river in the winter. Actually after getting out the cold water, It felt sooo good!

Teach, Learn, Share

Since my mother tongue is Chinese and I have been living in Estonia for two years, I could teach some simple Chinese and Estonian if you are interested. :)
I have been practicing cooking so I could cook simple Chinese dishes for you.
Some personal but 100% useful tips for travelling in Estonia and in China.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do. I would love to learn some useful basic words, phrases of local language from the host, some specific culture traits and taboos

What I Can Share with Hosts

Definitely my own stories. :) I believe my travelling stories should be interesting and attracting to the hosts.
Since currently I am staying at Estonia, I would bring Estonian Postcards and something small but very Estonian for host.
