Overview
About Me
I love meeting new people, and I'm pretty open minded and easy going. I like to understand other peoples views and perspectives and I'm a true advocate of free speech and freedom to think what you like.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first signed up to Couch Surfing in 2009 when I moved from Melbourne Australia to Krakow Poland. A lot of my lasting friendships from Krakow stemmed from those people who I originally met on CS.
Over the years I've hosted people in both Poland when i was living there and also in my flat in Australia. Lately I mostly use CS to just meet people, whether it be when I'm at home or in a different city. One day when I'm more settled I will host people again.
I've met a lot of great people on CS and
Interests
I love eating and cooking. I often host dinner parties which is one of my favourite things to do, bringing people together over dinner and food. I like to get out into nature and see animals in the wild. I'm more of a beach person than a mountain person. I prefer warm weather to cold. Although I love being in a city when it snows. I'm not a huge party person, but every now and then I'm up for a bender. But mostly these days I will go home at a reasonable hour so i can enjoy the following day without a hangover.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
My Spotify weekly playlist has basically resulted in me having a very diverse taste in music without knowing the names of any of the artists.
I'm just going to add a jumble of bands I can recall from things I've listened to in recent years.
War on Drugs, Lindstron, M83, Sebastian Tellier, Chromatics, Queens of the Stone Age, Kurt Vile, Metronomy, Spritualized, Animal Collective, Sonic Youth, Nirvana, ACDC, BRMC, Shearwater,.. I could go on forever.
Movies/TV:
I don't watch any programmed TV these days including the news. I watch a bit of Netflix and stuff on Youtube.
Some random films i kind of liked: Wolf of Wall St, Arrival, First they killed my father, The pianist, Nightcrawler
Books:
I'm not a huge fan of fiction, I prefer to read books about business, biographies, world politics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done regarding travel would be to make myself fully mobile. Being completely nomadic with the freedom of being able to choose where I live and make friends in different cities.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been running my own business for a number of years, and I'm happy to share and talk about this.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook a decent risotto. :)
