To have the best Summer possible, I think this mission will be very easily manageable!!!!

ABOUT ME

I live in Brighton in squats and attics and am currently trying to set up a Housing Cooperative

I am from a small rural town between Newcastle and the Scottish borders and so spent most of my childhood playing on the beach, in woods, rivers and fields; I believe that this has given me a curiosity about the world which I find is best fulfilled through travelling.

I don't drink or take drugs and am vegan. I generally prefer to have a conversation than a night out but do love going to see live music.

I love to travel. I like adventure. I miss the road due to being currently trapped in Brighton studying my degree. I love Brighton, its a fantastic city (I'd say the best in the UK) but I do prefer to be travelling about; feeling a little more free; I am always going to be a country lad rather than a city boy. I spent about six months travelling two years ago and it was amazing. As well as hitching from Venice to Seville recently. I love camping and hiking and playing with juggling gear.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm more than happy to host people in my wonderful city and show them about as much as possible when I am not working. I think my experience of Brighton is a slightly different one to that which many people have and so it could be a nice perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Generally hugely positive so far. I was a Couch Surfing novice when I travelled last and so have never surfed anyones couch due to insufficient time left before requesting but I have hosted in my house before and wish to be able to contribute to peoples travelling experience much more as well as learn from others and stay with others when I am travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many that a list would be silly but I love Political philosophy and I will read nearly anything fictional that takes my fancy.

I like films that make you think or have beautiful photography but i will watch just about anything that is entertaining also.

I like all sorts of music anything from Very Heavy Metal to Classical and Drum and Bass to Screamo. I have an eclectic taste but the music I listened to when I was younger was Hardcore Punk and that has influence on many of my tastes even today. On a night out I really enjoy going to see live bands and Drum and Bass raves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its always fantastic to watch the sunset or rise on a beautiful view.

One of my favourite things I've ever done is walk and wild camp up the Northumbrian Coast.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a diverse range of interests and would say that I am pretty interesting and generally good to talk to.

I can teach most circus skills, some at an advanced level and some at a very modest level I've been teaching circus skills for six years now and have been employed to do it in some guisse for four.

I always want to hear new things about the world and about people and find intellectually stimulating conversation amazing.
